Meet Your Guide for The Way
Sheila Delaney is a meaning maker and story crafter who has spent two decades studying human behavior at the intersection of professional leadership and authentic living as an executive facilitator and coach. She has been building bridges in the betweens for her whole life, starting with her own bicultural roots.
It only makes sense that she is using her lawyerly brain and her artistic sensibility to build a bridge between the old way and a new way forward, where we are reclaiming language and resetting expectations.
She lives and works from these primary principles:
We are each entitled to our journey. We get confused about what this means.
Self-trust starts with radical responsibility. Taking responsibility for our own well-being, gifts, talents, and unique-take is the original power move. (‘Responsibility’ is a word we are reclaiming and reframing.)
The world opens up when we live into questions rather than answers.
We learn by contrast, which means we usually get the opposite of what we seek, first, and then we dial it in.
Our inner work shows up in our outer world, and we're at our best - resourced, vital, resilient, and kind - when we are friendly with all the parts of ourselves. That is when we are the clearest leaders, innovators, parents, story tellers.
It starts with me and you. Then our relationships. Then our communities and organizations. This is the awakening.
Let’s build something good and worthwhile together that nourishes us all in the places we laugh, gather, lead, and work.
And may it be of benefit.
